SILVER LINING RIDE

The Silver Lining Ride is virtual, again!

This year the Silver Lining Ride is open to everyone - and its now FREE to register! We're encouraging you to participate in your own way, whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider.

You can chalk up the kilometres anywhere, anytime, and in any way you like between 1 and 30 November 2022. On your road bike, your mountain bike, your commuter bike. In the gym, on the road, your favourite trail or bike path, or in the garage on a trainer. Our fundraising platform has Strava integration, so its easy to track your progress!

Take on the traditional Silver Lining Ride challenge of 1,068km solo or in a team - one kilometre for every woman lost to ovarian cancer in Australia each year OR set your own kilometre challenge.

What do I have to do?

Register

Join us! Its FREE to register and ride between 1 and 30 November 2022 – anywhere, anytime as an individual or team. Ride the traditional 1,068km OR set your own distance challenge.

Connect

Of course, we all know that if it’s not on Strava, it didn’t happen! That’s why we’ll sync your rides from Strava to your fundraising page to help you track your progress.

Ride

Indoors on your trainer, outdoors in the rain, hail or shine. Early in the morning, on your lunchbreak, the commute to work or school. You choose when you ride and how far you go each time as you work towards your distance goal.

And what’s more, you’ll have a whole month to do it!

Any ride you record on Strava between November 1 to 30 counts.

Plus, you don't have to go it alone. Team up and combine your riding distance with a friend, a group of mates or as a family to reach your target.

The distance of 1,068km is also the same distance the inaugural Silver Lining Ride travelled in 2017 between the Adelaide Oval and The MCG. So, if you're taking on the traditional challenge and aiming for 1,068km in 2022, you’ll be able to map your pedalled progress against the original Ride and virtually achieve the epic route through regional South Australia and Victoria.

WHAT DO I GET WITH MY REGISTRATION?

This year, registration is FREE of charge. So we’re going to make you work a little bit to earn your goodies!

When you raise your first $100, you’ll be rewarded with a pair of SLR cycling socks. Raise $500 to earn the SLR jersey and $1,068 to earn the matching bib knicks.

If you raise $2,500 or more, we’ll reward you with some serious tech – a Garmin Vivoactive 4S GPS Smart Watch - in silver of course!
