We’re back on the bike for the 2018 Silver Lining Ride

In 2017 we rode from Adelaide to Melbourne, in honour of, and inspired by friends lost to Ovarian Cancer – Mandy Herbert and Helen Hatzis. The epic 1067.8 km adventure, undertaken by nine Silver Lining Riders and their amazing support crew was such a success that we’ve decided to up the ante this year year.

Canberra to Melbourne in seven days.

FROM THE CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY TO THE CAPITAL OF COFFEE. THAT’S OUR GOAL FOR 2018.

WE HAVE MORE KILOMETRES TO PEDAL…

More towns to visit, more people to meet, more awareness to raise, more tins to rattle. More of a difference to make.

And we have more riders. In particular, joining us this year is Justin Flynn, an accomplished rider whose wife Leane is locked in a battle with Ovarian Cancer as we plot our route from north to south.
We’ll be riding for Mandy, Helen and Leane. For those who have lost their lives and loved ones to this disease. For those who are fighting the disease and supporting those fighting the disease. We’ll be riding for a future free of Ovarian Cancer.

Powering us in 2018 are the following major sponsors. We thank them for their support

Why?

Because this year in Australia alone… 1500 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer – and horribly, 1 woman will lose her fight every 10 hours
